Bursting buckets of seasonal blooms for celebrations of every kind!

Do you like to arrange flowers on your own?

These Buckets of Blooms are grower’s choice and center on what is seasonally in bloom on the local flower scene. Each bucket contains approximately 70 stems and is filled with a mix of half premium focal blooms and half foliage and fillers in complementary palettes to make gorgeous arrangements. Each bucket is $125 + tax.

At checkout, we will ask you for your date of pickup, your preferred color palette, and use for your flowers. This informations helps us create the best bucket of blooms for your purposes.

If you are trying to figure out how many buckets to order for DIY designing for an event, I recommend the following method:

Step 1. Write a list of how many pieces you would like to design. Example: 15 mason jar centerpieces, 1 bridal bouquet, 1 bridesmaid bouquet, 4 venue arrangements.

Step 2. Decide your recipe for how many stems will go in each piece. Example: 15 mason jars x 8 stems, 1 bridal bouquet x 50 stems, 1 bridesmaid bouquet x 25 stems, and 4 venue arrangements x 50 stems.

Step 3. Total the stems. Example: 120 + 50 + 25 + 50= 245 stems needed

Step 4. Divide your total stems needed by 70 stems, and decide whether to round up or down based on whether you want more focal flowers or are okay with foliage and filler to bulk up arrangements. Example: 245/70= 3.5 buckets. Round up to 4 buckets if you wish for more focal flowers in your arrangements, round down to 3 buckets if you prefer more greens and filler flowers in your arrangements.

Our buckets contain approximately 70 stems, with half the stems being our truly special focal blooms that are simply not available from the international floral industry.

Of course, please feel free to adjust all of the numbers above according to your needs and preferences! 

Between pickup and your event, we recommend storing your blooms in the coolest place you have available— sometimes a basement or garage.

Buckets of blooms can be picked up at the farm any Thursday or Friday year-round. If you would like to pick up on a different day of the week (not Thursday or Friday), please indicate the date on the reservation form and we will reach out via email to confirm availability.
